Lesser Antilles - Caribbean:

The Caribbean is a real paradise for sailors and passengers alike. There is a moderate breeze, the sun is warm, the waters are crystal clear, there is an abundance of tropical beaches and pristine coral reefs, and no shortage of rum drinks and reggae music.
The Lesser Antilles chain of islands is approximately 400 nautical miles long connecting South America and Trinidad from Florida and North America. It is especially picturesque around the Virgin Islands and the Grenadines waters - it's hard to find anything better on a sailing holiday. There is only one problem - the choice! because you can not visit all the islands in one cruise. However, rushing will prevent you from knowing and merging into this unique, slow rhythm of life; characteristic of the natives.

To the east of the Virgin Islands are several islands grouped around Saint Martin / Sint Maarten. Here begins the Windward Islands. In St. Martin / St.Maarten, you will discover a popular charming French town of Marigot. On the south side of the town of Philpsburg, you'll find a  lively place for lovers of casinos and nightlife. 13 miles from St. Martin is Anguilla, with lots of coral reefs and stretches of beaches. Some of the best places for diving in the Caribbean can be found here, near Prickly Pear Cays.

At the top of the arc of the Lesser Antilles are the US and British Virgin Islands. They consist of numerous islands and inlets, mostly uninhabited, attractive not only for sailing here for the first time, but also for regular visitors. The larger, more popular areas are St. Thomas, St. John, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda. Tortola, capital of the British Virgin Islands, has many attractions. Jost Van Dyke is a favorite place for nature lovers and party goers, but it also has beautiful anchorages and unforgettable beaches. Norman Island was reportedly the inspiration for "Treasure Island". On Virgin Gorda, you'll enjoy taking a dip in the famous Baths, surrounded by an extraordinary assemblage of huge boulders and palm trees, or you could simply admire the magnificent blue lagoon in the North Sound.
